Korgfjellet Mountain Lodge is a traditional, family-run accommodation opened in 1958, beautifully situated 555 meters above sea level on Korgfjellet. We offer 5 hotel rooms inside the lodge, and 6 modern mountain cabins, each 65m². The facility also has pitches for motorhomes and caravans. After the Korgfjell Tunnel opened in 2005, Korgfjellet became a peaceful accommodation, close to nature.
Korgfjellet Mountain Lodge is ideally located for a variety of experiences in Helgeland. During the summer months, you’ll find marked hiking trails of varying lengths leading south and north from the lodge.
A barbecue hut / lean-to is easily accessible, a 5-minute walk from the lodge.
Day trips to Okstindbreen glacier and DNT Rabothytta are natural hiking destinations. Snowmobile trails from the foot of Korgfjellet are available in winter, with varying trail lengths depending on the season. The beautiful Helgeland coast is only a 45-minute drive away, where you can experience coastal fishing, RIB safaris, and a variety of other exciting and nature-based activities.
Modern lodge cabins
Korgfjellet Mountain Lodge offers rental of modern and comfortable cabins. The cabins were built in 2020, have two bedrooms and sleeping space for 5 people. The cabins are equipped with a modern kitchen with coffee maker and full equipment, dining area and living room. Bathroom with shower, underfloor heating and laundry facilities. The cabins have a 50-inch TV and dedicated Wi-Fi fiber network.
Accommodation rooms at the mountain lodge
We offer 5 accommodation rooms with private bathrooms at the mountain lodge. You can choose between double rooms for two people or family rooms with two bedrooms accommodating up to five guests. All rooms have private bathrooms and give you access to all the mountain lodge’s facilities.
Parking for motorhomes and caravans
We offer pitches for motorhomes and caravans with fantastic views of Korgfjellet and Okstindene. The pitches are connected to electricity and you have access to toilets, showers and laundry facilities at no extra cost. Private Wi-Fi network available.
Nature experiences in Helgeland
Korgfjellet Fjellstue is centrally located for wonderful nature experiences in Helgeland, with marked hiking trails on Korgfjellet, or you can visit the Okstindbreen glacier and Rabothytta cabin. The Helgeland coast is only a 45-minute drive away.
