COVID-19 Measures

Korgfjellet Fjellstue adheres to the advice and recommendations of health authorities and closely monitors the development of the situation.

Here are some of the measures implemented in connection with the COVID-19 virus.

  • We have dedicated stations with hand sanitizer placed in all guest areas, available for all guests/employees, and in back-office areas for all employees in accordance with regular internal control.
  • We have introduced extra frequent cleaning of all common contact surfaces, such as door handles and other touch points in the mountain lodge.
  • Our kitchen and restaurant take all precautions regarding food and food safety.

Recommendations from HelseNorge on what you can do to prevent infection:

  • Avoid coughing or sneezing directly on others.
  • Keep at least one meter distance from others.
  • Cough into a disposable tissue that you then discard. Afterward, you must wash your hands.
  • If you don’t have a tissue, you should cough into your elbow to avoid spreading droplets into the air.
  • Wash your hands often and thoroughly with soap and lukewarm water, especially after being out among people.
  • You can also use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available.
  • Find alternatives to handshakes and hugging.
